Here is one of the originally two stone mills moved from the old Kongsberg Mill in the 1950s. The other one was replaced with a hammermill in the 70s, and are used for animal food. All food-meal are still ground on the stone mill. This is where the corn enters the mill. Unfortunately, you can't see the stones inside it. The corn is loaded upstairs. This is the engine which runs the stone mill. It's been in use since around 1965. The mill was earlier run by large equal power engines, which got power from the power station.
This is the mill from the back. It can be difficult to start; you must drag the belts to get the engine to run properly. Sometimes they fall off!
Your tour in the mill is over for now, but most likely there'll be more pictures and information later.
